Thornton Wilder Society – ALA 2021

The Thornton Wilder Society welcomes papers on any aspect of the author’s career for the annual American Literature Association (ALA) conference in Boston on July 7-11, 2021, Westin Copley Place, 10 Huntington Avenue Boston, MA 02116.  

We especially welcome papers on gender in any of the plays or novels, or racial identity as they relate to such Wilder works as the plays “Pullman Car Hiawatha” and The Skin of Our Teeth, or the novel The Eighth Day. We welcome papers proposals from both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as established scholars.
